Types of Loans Available
Hebrew Free Loan offers loans in the following categories and amounts...

Emergency (to $2,000)
Emergency loans fulfill immediate needs, such as food, clothing, shelter or a medical situation.

Personal (to $10,000)
Personal loans enable people without sufficient resources to meet challenging financial needs or opportunities.

Student Loan
Student Loans (from $3,500 to $6,000 per academic year for undergraduate students and from $7,500 to $10,000 per academic year for graduate students). Student loans assist those enrolled full-time in a college, graduate school, professional program or vocational school.

 
Home Buyer (to $15,000)
Home-buyer loans help individuals make a down payment on their first home purchase.

Debt Consolidation (to $12,000)
Debt consolidation loans provide relief for people faced with serious debt.

Life Cycle (to $5,000)
Life Cycle loans provide assistance for celebrations such as a wedding or a bar/bat mitzvah.

Business Loan

 

Business (to $25,000)
Business loans enable people to start or expand a small commercial enterprise.

 

Adoption (to $10,000)
Adoption loans help individuals pay for international or domestic adoptions.

Institutional (to $25,000)
Institutional loans help Northern California Jewish social service, religious, or educational organizations meet financial challenges.

Special Needs

 

Special Needs (to $10,000)
Special needs loans provide assistance when medical or special educational needs arise.
