Our hearts go out to all who are affected by the devastating wildfires throughout Northern California. Hebrew Free Loan is offering the following resources to help our local Jewish community members get through these difficult times and rebuild their lives.

EMERGENCY LOANS: Up to $3,000 for those who need immediate support to get by until insurance and/or FEMA kicks in, or to help with short-term loss of income. Assistance can be provided within days, if necessary. Click here to learn more and apply.

GENERAL NEEDS LOANS: Up to $20,000 to pay for fire-related losses not covered by insurance or other recovery relief: home repairs, short-term rentals, replacing a car, furniture or appliances, etc. Click here to learn more and apply.

HOME-BUYER LOANS: Up to $25,000 for people who have lost their homes and need help to buy a new home or rebuild. Loans cover moving expenses, closing costs, construction, appliances, furniture, and more. We typically offer these loans only to first-time home buyers, but we are extending this resource to those working to rebuild their lives after the fires.  Click here to learn more and apply.

UNEMPLOYMENT LOANS: Up to $15,000 for people who have lost their jobs or are unable to work due to the fires. These loans provide recipients with up to $2,500 per month for up to 6 months. Loan repayments will be deferred until three months after getting a new job or, if unemployment continues, nine months after the first loan disbursement. Click here to learn more and apply.

BUSINESS LOANS: Up to $20,000 for small business owners who need help rebuilding their businesses after the fires. Loans may help with damages to physical property, loss of inventory, temporary loss of business income, and other needs not covered by insurance. Click here to learn more and apply.
