Pollak Community

Up to $6,000/year

Help with college costs for students from lower income homes who are referred by a Hebrew Free Loan partner agency. Students do not need to be Jewish. These loans are awarded on a nonsectarian basis to students who might not otherwise be able to enroll in school full-time.

Depending on their need, students may borrow up to $6,000 per academic year for up to four years. Student loan checks are written in the student’s name and may be used for tuition, fees, books, or living expenses.

To learn more about Hebrew Free Loan’s Pollak Community Loan Program, including information about the loan process or how to become a partner agency, contact Terry Lowe: (415) 546-9902 x108 or terry@hflasf.org.
