Interest-free loans up to $20,000
Find relief from the burden of high-interest debt and get on the road to financial well-being with a debt consolidation loan from Hebrew Free Loan of San Francisco. If your credit cards have become unmanageable and you don’t see a way out, we may be able to help you get out of debt more quickly.
What types of debt are eligible for debt consolidation? You can pay off credit cards, payday loans, car loans, and personal lines of credit, as well as past-due rent and utilities bills. We typically focus on paying off your highest interest debt first, but in urgent situations we can consider paying off personal loans from family and friends.
People sometimes ask about debt consolidation for student loans. If you need help with student loan debt, please call us at (415) 546-9902 x110 BEFORE you apply. We are sometimes able to pay off student loans, but only if the loan makes sense in the context of applicants’ overall financial situation.
If you’re unsure what loan type to apply for, select the one that seems like the best fit. A loan officer will work with you to figure out what type of loan will be most helpful.
Hebrew Free Loan’s Model
Hebrew Free Loan is based on principles found in the Torah, in which we are commanded not to derive personal benefit — i.e. not to charge interest — when we lend money to assist those in need. Click here to watch a short video about Parashat Mishpatim, the Torah section that contains these teachings.
We’ve proven the success of our model with a repayment rate of over 99.5%. That’s the beauty of interest-free lending. As loans are repaid, funds are recycled to make new loans. Many loan recipients also participate in our Full Circle Club, in which former borrowers pay forward the help they received by donating to Hebrew Free Loan to help the next person in need.
